2011 was a wonderful year! With the exception of having my car totaled in November, my credit card # stolen, and then my brand new car rear-ended before its license plates had even come in, 2011 has been amazing.

Thankfully, at the end of 2011, Facebook created Timeline which has allowed me to recall everything that happened in 2011.

January: My sweet nephew turned 4 years old (whaaaa?!). I remember the day he was born. Man, I love him.

February: My mom, sis, and I Skyped with my grandparents in Korea for the first time. Technology rules.

March: I chilled. I loved friends and family. I ate good food.

April: I visited Florida with my husband, BFF, and BFF's husband. I started using "BFF" again.

May: I chilled. I loved friends and family. I ate good food.

June: I completed my very first 5K/fun run. It was hot, but it was awesome.

July: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was released, and I cried my eyes out.

August: I ran my first timed 5K. We celebrated with friends and family at our annual dog birthday party. Love me some canines, especially ones with fancy names, like Sebastian, Dimitri, and Broughton.

September: A busy month! I threw my sister a baby shower, visited Colorado, turned 27, and got promoted.

October: Another busy month! Adrienne visited (hooray!). I also celebrated my fifth wedding anniversary, my husband's 29th birthday, and the birth of my niece.

November: According to Facebook, I spent all of November eating at the same Thai restaurant. In my defense, I started training for the half marathon around this time.

December: Santa Claus brought me a fanny pack, which I wore today while walking my dogs. I asked my husband if my wearing a fanny pack was funny, and he replied, "It's fanny."

2012, here I come!

"I wish my feet weren't all blistered and calloused from running."

"They're not gross."

"Thanks. Wait, I never said they were gross."

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm an hour-ish late.

I'm thankful for our organic and local home delivery grocery service that made hostess duty incredibly easy this year.

I'm thankful for my beautiful family and wish Connor could have been here today.

I'm most thankful for this man who is an amazing sidekick and partner.

I'm thankful to be alive and ready for amazing adventures in 2012.
